Tristan Kal-El Earl
Tristan – tumultuous
In Arthurian legend, Tristan (sometimes called Tristram) was a Knight of the Round Table and the tragic hero of the medieval tale “Tristan and Isolde.” This ancient name derives from a Pictish original, Drostan, but the form was influenced by the French term “triste”, meaning “sad”.
Kal-El – voice of god
Kal-El is an invented name, American by location. It is the Kryptonian birth name of Superman in comic books and films. It resembles the Hebrew words ??-??, which could be interpreted as “Voice of God”.

Some of these pix suck, but we had fun before the Neighborhood Nazi Association ran us off. Apparently my 3 yeard old was a threat with his sparklers.

So i have been on military leave and away from my men for a week now. It has been pretty awful. The Army stuff has been fine, good concerts and good people to be around, but i feel like i am missing out on so much not being with my family.
Once again i missed another holiday. as we speak Curtis is outside lighting some fireworks for Geordan…..and I’m missing it. if I’m not at Starbucks I’m with the army! its getting a little exhausting.
I did not get to speak to Geordan yesterday or the day before, so today i was really excited that he was awake when i called. He has grown up so much in the last week. when i left he would only say hi to someone on the phone, but today he had a conversation with me. He even answered the phone and said “hello mama” not just ” hi” he said “hello”. There has not been that much time to speak with Curtis either.
i k now that this probably seams silly, but i just really miss Curtis and Geordan!
They are my world!!
Only one more week to go though!!!!
