He’s been telling us for a while when he was dirty or wet. But I’ve never thought he was coordinated to handle his piece. Handling your junk is a huge part of potty training. So we got him a potty and urinal. Things seem to be ok. He’s managed to make it to the potty in the middle of number 2 a couple of times. I’m counting those as victories. He just looked up and said ‘Potty’ and broke off at a run up the steps. Sure enough, he dropped a load. Victory.

He’s not quite as accurate with his pee-pee though. We’ve gotten him to pee in the potty 1 time. Every other time he grabs his crotch and says potty, it’s over before we can get up the steps and in the bathroom. *Sigh* we have time. I’m sure he’ll be using the bathroom on his own by the time he turns 6.

Denielle is going out of town to some drill next week. Just me alone with the baby for 4 days. I feel sorry for him because that means he’ll have to get up at 5am with me. We gave it a test run this morning and he slept until I set him down in the Daycare.

Anyways, thats it. If any of you ladies would like to come up for 4 days and be a surrogate Mommy, I’m down with it.

the only worse than living alone is being a single parent.

you single parents out there, i salute you. this shit is for the birds. pardon my french – but this is my site, i’m talking about my family. some situations just call for proper usage of the word shit. so there. shit. i  said it again. i can feel myself slowly losing my mind.
