He’s developing a little personality. He’s spoiled and can be brat sometimes. He’s started laughing out loud. I liketo tickle him right behind his knees and the inside of his thighs. i take him everywhere i go. Then i get other comments “Man, i see him with you everywhere you go! he’s a traveling little boy.” You stupid bastards, where was i supposed to leave my son?

so i’ve spent the last hour reorganizing his photos. i fully intend to create and publish a book of his First Year. his eating habits have fallen into a pattern. ummm here are some pictures.

Geordan went to his first party! my homeboy – Tremaine – has a son who recently turned 1. we went to the party. Looking at the other little black kids, i’ll tell you one thing: my Geordan is a little white baby. Oh SURE, we fool ourselves when there’s nothing else to compare him to, but my son is definitely mixed breed. i’ve been thinking of how to incorporate his polish heritage into his life. maybe i’ll have him call me by the polish word for father “Tatus” pronounced ‘Ta-Tush.’Â

The Swing of Torture. Someone gave us an Oldie But Goodie toy. It’s one of those swings that you hang from the doorframe. I lowered it enough for him to put his little footied feet on the floor and kick around. the first time in the seat, that cat had no idea what the hell was going on. Can you see the pain and torture in his face? he was soooo miserable. After 5 months of no sleep, i feel oddly justified. But he loves the damn thing now – whats the fun in that?

Our good friend Jeff and D’Annette are having a baby in November, so we passed along out Cherrywood (or something) cradle/bassinette thingy. i never figured out if it was one or the other. People have tried to explain it to me but i cant figure out what it has to do with the 4-3 Zone-Dog defense or Cowboys Cheerleaders.

This is the Cradle-thing before Geordan was born. we were… wait, i was scrambling to complete his nursery. As you can see i’m obviously OC as i’ve piled all his toys in the cradle to keep them from underfoot. Well, we finally put the.. wait, I finally put the crib together and put one of the 10,000 sets of baby sheets and padding on it. and…
