We’ve started taking our little man to the pool. we didnt have such a great day, though. he wasnt feelin very adventurous.

We took Geordan to the zoo today. he seemed to havea good time. be on the look out for pictures!

Curt says: well, i havent posted ina while. but things have been kinda crazy. we’ve moved. i’m swtill working on getting Geordan’s room together. he’s still growing. he sits up now. he rolls and scoots on his face. oi wish he’s pick his head up and crawl. but all in good time i guess. here’s a quick pic:

he’s got a great demeanor. he rarely cries. right now he’s upstairs squealing.

Big Pappa says: Well, things have been hectic this month. sorry i havent been keeping you up to date with Geordan’s happening.

He’s sitting up on his own. Well, he cant actually get up in the position, but if you set him down, he’ll hold the position. he’s reaching and manipulating things extremely well. he’s starting to vocalize beyond babble. before he would just make noise, but now he does it with a purpose. he says important hings like “hey! i’m friggin hungry” or “YO, pick me back up, i wasnt done pulling your ears or licking your nose. he hasnt gotten any teeth yet, which is good and bad. i got 8 teeth by the time i was 7 months, but then i didnt get any more until i was 14 months. i looked like a little caramel freak. maybe his teeth will all come in evenly. My father - a dentist - was going to lance my gums. luckily for me, i got some molars in.

Geordan went to his family reunion this month. He got to meet all sortss of family. i stayed home to work. maybe Denielle will hop on and describe what it was like. This is a video of Uncle Adam messing with Geordan.

I suprised Geordan didnt reach out and snatch the beer and slap his uncle.

Big Daddy says: wild and crazy things in the world Geordan. He’s managed to flip over. This officially ends leaving him to sleep by himself on the bed surrounded by pillows. I walked into his bedroom and found him on his stomache. Big Mama says she had nothing to do with it. Apparently he has decided he will for now and ever more be sleeping on his stomach. ok. whatever.

Geordan plays now! he’s always looked at his toy with mild indifference. but we plopped him into an Olde Skool walker toy and he pounced on the toys. He got excited and even figured out how to start some of the noisier toys playing.

he ’s up to 1 jar of food per meal and would prolly eat more if we ket him. he didnt like the spoon at first but we’ve worked it out.

Geordan is almost 6 months! I’m working on his book. i have pictures from every month that i will work into it.

As you can see, he’s pretty intense about this toy. It just goes to show you that thers no school like the Olde Skool.!!

Big Daddy says: Geordan took his firs two steps crawling. mama’s been working on his tummy time for months now. Geordan coule always get his head up, and he could always get his knees up but he never figured out how to do both at the same time. SO he got his little head up, then brought his little knees up, then he took to crawling steps. of course i took him out for a beer in celeration. mama was pissed because she’s the one who’s been working on this with him the entire time .

Geordan has started solid foods. As a child i hated vegetables, but i did like carrots. SO we’re training him on carrots. he seemed to like it alright. so we’re doing the cereal in the morning and carrots for the two afternoon meals. he has a Dr’s appointment at some point this week. hell, i dont know, i just go where i’m told.

Since we’ve moved Geordan into spacier conditions, we’re noticing his odd sleeping habits. as you can tell from his nursery pix, there’s a big old bag of toys and animals over the right end of the crip. now thats not where i wanted it, but there other 3 walls are compromised with closet doors and windows. so we’re careful to lay him to sleep head to the left.we wake up in the middle of the night and check on him only to find he’s rotatedc 180 degrees clockwise and his head is to the right. At fist denielle blamed me, cuz i seem to be the source for all that is evil in the world. And while i’m certain that the bags i secure to the wall, i still refuse to lay him down head to the right. i can thnk of no worse death than to suffocate in disney animals and Starbucks Bears. so its a shock to come him and fine him with his head to the right. yesterday, i guess he got tired midway, cuz we found him with his head perpendicular to the crib. wel today i found him perpendicular and munching on this bunny that we put waaaaaaay out of the way. i have no idea how he got to the otherside of the crib and grabbed this stupid bunny.

We’re not entirely sure what he’s so excited about, but we’ll roll with itI was playing the piano for him. Denielle came alongwith the camera and he started to ham it up. the pictures came out very well considering that it was actually very dark in the room.

More Pictures of Geordan!OK so Geordan has decided that he will now be sleeping on his stomach - hence and forever more. i put him in his crib one way, i come back hours later and he’s flipped over onto his bellty. ok. whatever.

So, today he gets his first swim.! i dont know if i ‘ll be going into the pool with him.
